A New Dot Visual Acuity Test for Children

  • Chapter

Abstract

A simple and efficient method is presented for subjectively assessing the visual acuity of children who cannot respond to the standard Landolt chart. The method uses palm-sized cards on which is drawn the face of an animal or a human with dots for eyes. The dots serve as the target for visual acuity testing.
