Abstract

Formal assessment and evaluation of your work is a traditional and central part of college and university life. Exams, class presentations, assignments, projects and essays will be assessed in at least one of several ways: by your lecturer, tutor or teacher; by your peers; and, often, by the hardest judge of all, by you yourself.
