Abstract

The term ‘evaluation’ produces anxiety and even fear in the hearts and minds of many teachers. It is important therefore that we demystify the term at the outset. Evaluation is even more important in an era of increasing accountability when teachers are being requested to justify their actions at classroom, whole school and particularly community levels.
