Abstract
Kemper-Murray Johnstone International (KMJI) is a joint venture founded in 1980 between Kemper Financial Services of Chicago and Murray Johnstone of Glasgow. The firm manages pension funds, insurance accounts, foundations and endowments, and a mutual fund. It has a total of $700 million invested in international equity and fixed-income markets. Kemper-Murray Johnstone International allocates and monitors US assets overseas through the regional specialists at Murray Johnstone, which also provides research and investment services. Kemper Financial Services provides administrative, accounting and pricing services, as well as the marketing and client servicing base.
