Abstract
This Case Study is a fusion resulting from two colleagues identifying an area of common ground within their respective subject-based teaching schemes for GCSE. There was a desire to demonstrate that Case Studies could operate within the context of separate GCSE courses and produce a whole that was greater than the sum of the parts. There was also the wish to maintain consistency with the criteria for pre-vocational education and to provide a common opportunity across the ability range.
