Abstract
This Case Study was written to be used both within the Foundation Programmes and as part of a GCSE Motor Vehicle course. Much of the content of this GCSE course can be developed and delivered in Case Study form, within the themes of Art & Design and Technology and in the contexts of Self and the Environment and Production and Technical Service. If a single course on an option structure is being developed across a number of modules, it is not necessary to develop it in discrete modules. In fact, practice would indicate that a more coherent, relevant and participative programme is often made up of Case Studies feeding into different modules.
