Abstract
The Foundation Programmes of Pre-Vocational Studies for Pupils aged 14 to 16 are provided by the Joint Unit of BTEC and City and Guilds. National pilot schemes, designed to test out and assist in the refinement of this scheme, were launched in September 1986.
