Abstract

This Case Study was produced by a teacher on an industrial placement in the textiles industry. It could be used in a variety of situations within Art and Design courses, Technology Courses and Science Courses all being developed for GCSE. Depending upon the context for delivery, the supplementary resources required will be extremely varied in both detail and knowledge. The resources provided with this study are intended as a very basic resource to help less able students through the tasks, other students should be able to find and use their own resources or may need supplementary resources from the teacher to meet the criteria of the particular GCSE programme being followed.
