As well as copying files from one disk to another you will need to be able to delete files from a disk. This is done using the DEL command. One or more files can be deleted simultaneously by using this command. In fact it can be used to delete every single file from a disk should you wish to do so. This is the only way, short of physically destroying a disk, of getting rid of files.
