Abstract
The staff of the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise will help taxpayers in every reasonable way to obtain their rights and to understand and meet their obligations under the tax laws. To enable them to do this the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise are entitled to expect that they are given the full facts as soon as possible in order to calculate how much tax each individual pays.
