Abstract

The word processor operator must perfect the skill of proof reading from the screen. The task must be undertaken methodically, by checking word for word for spelling, spacing and grammatical errors. An example of a grammatical error of agreement is:

The files was written to disk.

This should read:

The files were written to disk.
