Abstract
Your GCSE course will have been designed following nationally agreed criteria. This means that all GCSE physics courses will cover some common content. If you do well in your GCSE course you will be equipped to study physics at a higher level, take a vocational course such as BTEC or move into the world of work. A physics qualification is held in high regard by employers. Following the national criteria, assessment on your course will take place during as well as at the end of the course. You will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of physics and your practical skills.
