Abstract
This topic is likely to appear more frequently in GCSE examinations than on previous CSE or GCE papers. Many teachers are interested in the concept of feminism, and the issue of women’s rights is always in the news. There has been a tendency in the past for male historians to write too much about the role of men in history. To redress the balance, you can expect to see plenty of questions on suffragists, suffragettes and feminists in the future.
