Abstract

When violence erupts in the society, nurses are frequently involved, either caring for victims of aggression or rape or being vulnerable themselves to assault, notably in accident and emergency or community work. And the signs indicate that crimes of violence are a growing problem, both out on the streets and on the domestic front.
