Abstract
Lily and I had made plans to go to the States for the months of April through June 1954. We sailed on 1 April, on the Liberté, which was a fine ship. We enjoyed every mile from Le Havre to New York. I played a few numbers for the gala nights which were scheduled on different nights in each class.
