Abstract

The semiconductor industry is possibly the most competitive sector in Electronics. Each participant is trying to keep ahead or at least level with the technical development of its competitors. They know that if they slip behind they will have to rely on their competitor’s materials for their existance and ultimately they will become simply assemblers.
