Abstract

This statement will be rather a selective viewpoint than any kind of coherent summary of the papers. They have already been summarised by the chairmen of the individual sessions, and a further condensation would not be of much value. Rather I will comment on the general questions which underlay the papers, particularly, as may be in line with my own biases, the theoretical issues raised.
