Abstract
It so happens that this meeting coincides with the recent release of a discussion document by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) on information to patients about their medicines. I am therefore going to take advantage of this fortunate piece of timing, and concentrate in this paper on the recommendations made in that document.
