Abstract
The nursing student will already have a knowledge of the rules and regulations regarding the safe storage and administration of medicine. Now she must acquaint herself with some of the drugs commonly used in psychiatric practice. The nurse’s role in giving medicine is an important function, and may be beneficial to the patient.
