Abstract
Normal functions of the liver, pancreas and thyroid gland ‘Metabolism’ refers to all of the body’s normal processes which result in:
-
1.
The provision of oxygen, nutrients and water to all cells of the body.

2.
The utilisation of these by all cells to produce and use energy, body proteins (both structural and non-structural), storage products and waste products.

3.
The elimination of the waste products.
