No pressure at all

Abstract

I believe that we had two rehearsals before opening. Unlike when I was playing with Goodman, we got paid for these. I was both player and contractor. Between shows we kept busy. We jammed a couple of times with Georgie Stoll, who played jazz violin. I would take my clarinet to his dressing room and, with a guitar for rhythm, we played Tea for Two and many other tunes.
