Abstract
In the previous chapter we investigated the behaviour of infinite sequences of real numbers and we realised that we had to look at the terms an and consider the overall trend as n gets larger and larger. For series, however, the important consideration is not just the individual terms themselves but rather the behaviour as we keep on adding them together.
