Abstract
There are numerous forms of heating system which may be used for space heating. A factor very influential in the choice today is costs: costs not only in terms of the initial installation but also in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance. Before selecting a system, examination of both initial and running costs needs to take place to provide a total cost picture over the projected life of the building.
