Abstract
In the first three years following the appearance of my Arbeitsbericht on Act III of Lulu1 I gradually carried out a series of minor improvements to my score. These were done: (1) on the basis of findings obtained from an examination of some material to which I had not previously had access; (2) on the basis of a better reading and clearer insights gained by looking at originals where I had previously only been able to see copies; (3) on technical and practical grounds. All these revisions concern small musical details: their degree of importance is shown by the fact that nobody has registered them at performances except the performers concerned. No major alterations have proved necessary.
