Abstract

Some children, while appearing to be relatively able intellectually, have great difficulty in performing physical tasks that other children in their age group perform naturally and easily. For example, they may be unable to run smoothly, kick a ball, walk on tiptoe, tie laces, use a knife and fork, scissors or pencil effectively.
