Abstract

In the period following The Hothouse, Pinter wrote a number of sketches for the stage revues One to Another (‘The Black and White’, ‘Trouble in the Works’) and Pieces of Eight (’Last To Go’, ‘Request Stop’, ‘Special Offer’). Other sketches written at this time were subsequently broadcast in early 1964 on the BBC’s Third Programme (‘That’s Your Trouble’, ‘That’s All’, ‘Applicant’, ‘Interview’, ‘Dialogue for Three’).
