The extensive re-examination of economic policies which has been inspired by Keynes’s work should have implied developments just as important as those achieved in the realm of theoretical analysis. This is especially important if we seek to investigate the basic characteristics of a policy capable of surmounting the present and putting in place an economy of structural and technological transformations. It is, nonetheless, possible to lay down some markers to indicate some of the potentially fruitful paths; in any case this has already been done in a number of contributions in this book.
