Abstract

Development policy making faces many problems, aggravated by present and foreseeable adversities. Based on a study of development policy difficulties, this paper presents a number of recommendations for augmenting the contributions of universities to development policy making, in ways fitting the essential nature of universities on the one hand and urgent development needs on the other.
