Abstract
Naval characteristics of four remaining Third-World regions — Africa, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the Far East — will be analysed briefly in this chapter with reference to the Third-World naval hierarchy (see Table 2.5). Because of the summary nature of the text, extensive tabular material is included for each region. The presentation of the data is uniform with that in Chapters 8 to 11.
