Abstract

Why a chapter on what amounts to educational theory when we are supposed to be talking about the micro and its associated technology? It is necessary to put the development of technology into a realistic educational context. That context at present is in a great state of flux and this has important implications for the way in which we see the future for technology in an educational context.
