Abstract
Hotspur, preparing for battle, asks where the ‘nimble-footed madcap Prince of Wales and his comrades’ are to be found. Let us look closely at Vernon’s enthusiastic description of the Prince, and Hotspur’s furious reply. Vernon begins:
