Abstract

The form of this chapter varies from that of the others in this book. The aim is to offer more extensive reading passages with possibilities for developing and extending reading skills. There are no exercises concerned specifically with points of grammar, although the passages, of course, contain a wide range of examples of structures in context, which will allow students to extend their knowledge of grammatical forms and structures encountered already in the book.
