Abstract
This paper is intended to briefly review the results from our group (cf. Johansson, 1981; Appelberg et al. 1983, 1984) on the reflex control of γ-motoneurones, give a short comparative survey of the organization of reflexes to α- and γ-motoneurones and, on that basis, enlarge upon some aspects of the role of γ-motoneurones in motor performance.
