Buckling Behaviour in Stretch Bending of Channels

Abstract

The main problems associated with the stretch bending of channels are buckling, springback, and undesirable deformation of the sectional shape. The buckling behaviour in stretch bending of T-beams is investigated. The buckling occurs during stretch flange bending and during unloading in shrink flange bending.
