Abstract
This chapter can be only a brief introduction to business finance. For more detailed help seek the advice of your accountant who should be able to help. Working with accounts is not everyone’s cup of tea and many hairdressers gladly hand over the work to a professional. However, it is useful (even essential) for you to know what sort of shape your business is in. If you do not keep the accounts yourself you should still be able to understand the information they give you and its purpose.
