Abstract

A graph is a diagram showing the relationship between two quantities. To draw, or plot, a graph two lines, called axes, are drawn at right angles to each other. These are really reference lines. A scale is marked along each axis sufficient to cover the variation in each quantity being represented. A graph is a good way of communicating information.
