Abstract
Numbers have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember and everyone will recognise the symbols (figures) 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9; you would have been saying to yourself nought (zero), one, two, three, four … as you recognised the arabic numbers. These numbers are used for counting and are often called natural numbers.
