Abstract
This introductory section serves, first, to specify the notion of a common property resource-hereafter abbreviated as CPR. Then we identify the major international CPRs and briefly describe their present and future economic and commercial potential. At the end of this section we indicate the risks and returns that are specific to large-scale projects in international CPRs.
