Abstract
The following questions have been taken from past question papers set for the Associate Examination of the Institute of Carpenters. The Institute, which is dedicated to upholding the principles of the crafts of carpentry and joinery, has examinations each year; passes in the Associate examinations entitle the successful candidates to apply for membership of the Institute. There are various sections of the Institute throughout the country and also in Australia and members are encouraged to take part in their activities.
