Abstract

Figure 11.1 is the elevation of what is called a knee brace roof truss which is suitable for the roof of a storage shed, and which gets its name from two braces that are incorporated in the truss and that give a certain amount of stability to the structure. Figure 11.2 is an end view of a truss and its support. The truss is constructed of fairly small section timbers and all its joints are secured with double toothed timber connectors.
