Part of the Yeats Annual book series (YA)

My cousin “Georgie” Yeats, née Georgie Hyde Lees, in one of her rare moments of confidential intimacy (I have cherished them throughout my long life) once told me that she had written her autobiography; but, she said, “I burned it.” What follows in these pages are memory pictures, beginning with my childhood reminiscences. When I was very young I became an ardent admirer and would-be special friend of my older cousin. This affection and admiration stayed with me throughout my entire life and I am happy to put some of these memory-vignettes into words.
