Abstract
Essential tremor is a common disorder and is usually considered to be mono-symptomatic. An increasingly common problem in clinical practice is in distinguishing essential tremor from the tremor arising in association with Parkinson’s disease, particularly as it presents in the elderly patient (Raymond, 1876; Marshall, 1968).
