Abstract
It is clear that the first task of economists in poor countries, if they are to study the possibility of achieving a high and sustained rate of future growth, is to analyse the essential problems of development in all their aspects, institutional, social and political, and thus break through the barriers imposed by traditional economics, so as to obtain better results in the future.
