Abstract
With today’s increasing interest in clinical gait analysis (Winter, 1976), optical equipment for full 3-D kinematic measurements on body segment motion is becoming increasingly available; amongst these, optoelectronic systems such as SELSPOT, VICON and CODA constitute contemporary, real-time alternatives for the more traditional, cinematographic approaches.
