Abstract
The results of the preceding chapters are now used in three different circumstances. The principal application to be discussed in this book is the geometry of real space but some elementary kinematical and physical applications are also introduced. As we frequently refer to the position vectors of points relative to an origin O, it is convenient to introduce the notation ‘the point A(a)’ to denote ‘the point A whose position vector relative to the fixed origin O is a’.
