Abstract

In any job allocation planning system, the common requirement is a link between the Gregorian calendar and a plan calendar; distributed over planned periods and expressed in time units of weeks, days, half days etc. Such a plan calendar, serving the utilisation of the MMCs for each planned period, is shown in table 5.1. In this example the planning has been made in week 21. Thus week 22 is in planned period 1 If the planning is renewed in week 22, then week 23 equals planned period 1, etc.
