A triangular affair: quangos, ministers, and MPs

  • Chapter
Quangos in Britain

Abstract

It is possible, though difficult, to make true statements about an individual quango; the difficulty lies in unearthing the information. I have sadly come to the conclusion that it is not possible to make true statements about them all; the impossibility lies in their bewildering variety. Addressing this theme is therefore a perilous undertaking because any general statement is open to apparent refutation by contrary example.
