Abstract

In the past decade there has been an unprecedented explosion of litigation in the United States and numerous cases have been brought against certified public accountants. The objective of this book has been to establish the extent of this litigation, to determine why it was occurring at the present time and most significantly to consider whether it was likely that accountant firms in the UK can expect to face a comparable litigation explosion.
