Abstract
Temperatures are now measured by scientists on the thermodynamic or Kelvin scale, using the symbol ‘K’. 0 K, the zero of the thermodynamic scale, is absolute zero which is defined from Charles’ law (Chap. 30). However, temperatures are still often given in degrees Celsius because of their familiarity.
