Abstract
Although orthographic projection is preferred for drawings which must provide full details of a component for manufacture, it normally requires at least three views for completeness. Where less detail is required, for example in drawings which show how components are assembled or the location of particular features, it is often possible to reduce the number of views which need be drawn.
